Most people see the disabled as a burden to their families and to society. However, this thinking will change once you hear the inspiring stories of the physical and mental fight that the table tennis paralympic athletes engage in daily and the stories of support from doctors, coaches, and parents. You will see that the disabled are not a burden, but an inspiration.
Organized with the Thailand Disabled Table Tennis Club (TDTTC), the goal of the project is to inspire both the society and the disabled in Thailand to believe in their potential to become anything they desire. The talks are curated to feature stories from the disabled as well as talks from company owners who choose to hire the disabled in their workplace. A highlight activity during the event is the table tennis competition between the attendees and the disabled. The impact of the event extends beyond the event itself as we livestreamed our event to other communities: the National Archives in Ladprao and the Achiva Mahathai School in Pattaya. Our Role: Event Organizer, Story Curator, Activity and Experience Designer
